What ApisVoice actually does
ApisVoice turns your voice into text and writes it in the field where your cursor is. No need to copy, paste or switch windows: you speak and the text shows up where you were typing.
Classic fields
In inputs and textareas the text is inserted at the exact cursor position.
Rich editors
Gmail, ChatGPT, LinkedIn, Notion, Slack: text is inserted in the editor preserving formatting.
Canvas-based editors
Google Docs, Figma or Miro: text is copied to the clipboard so you can paste it. Platform limitation, not a product one.

Green: armed, ready to record on click.
Red with halo and waves: recording.
Dimmed: disabled on this domain.
Bright red with toast: permission, network or microphone error.
What data ApisVoice collects
AppsDom does not receive or store your voice, audio or text. The extension uses no proprietary servers.
- No account, no login, no email.
- No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking cookies.
- No pop-ups, no advertising.
- Audio goes to the browser speech recognition engine. On Chrome, Edge and Brave that means Google servers (Web Speech API). AppsDom does not intermediate.
- Your preferences are saved in chrome.storage.local, inside the browser itself.

The microphone volume is controlled by your operating system. The browser Web Speech API does not expose gain control.

ApisVoice supports 10 languages with verified quality. Transcription quality depends on the browser engine, not on ApisVoice code.
