Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-05-06 · Version 1.0.0
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for processing data derived from the use of AppsDom extensions and apps (the Products) is AppsDom, the umbrella brand that develops and publishes the tools listed at app.apisdom.com.
Formal contact: app-apisvoice@apisdom.com.
2. Personal data processed
AppsDom does NOT receive or store any personal user data on its own servers. The Products work without an account, login or email.
The only data stored locally are user configuration preferences (selected language, floating icon position, domains where the icon was hidden, pause settings). These are saved exclusively in chrome.storage.local, inside the user browser, on their machine. They are not transmitted to AppsDom or third parties.
3. Processing purpose
Local preferences are used only to:
- Remember the configuration chosen by the user across sessions.
- Allow the extension to operate according to the saved preferences.
No other data processing is performed. AppsDom does not perform profiling, behavioral analytics, personalized advertising or third-party data sharing.
4. Legal basis
Local preference storage is based on the user implicit consent when installing and configuring the extension, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
5. Recipients
AppsDom does not transmit data to its own recipients. However, some features depend on APIs provided by the user browser, which may involve communication with the browser vendor servers. Such communication is documented transparently in the corresponding section of each product (see section 10 about microphone for ApisVoice).
6. Retention period
Local preferences remain in the user browser until manually removed by the user, the extension is uninstalled, or the Clear my preferences option is used inside the product.
7. Your GDPR rights
The user has the right to:
- Access: know which data is processed. In this case, none on AppsDom servers.
- Rectification: correct data. Done from the extension popup by changing the preferences.
- Erasure: delete data. Done with the Clear my preferences option or by uninstalling the extension.
- Restriction and objection: the user can stop using the product at any time.
- Portability: preferences are in
chrome.storage.local, manually exportable. - Complaint to a supervisory authority: in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
9. Browser permissions
Each extension declares in its manifest.json the permissions it needs. Those permissions are visible before installation and justified one by one in the corresponding product page. AppsDom only requests the minimum permissions strictly necessary for the product to function.
10. Microphone policy (ApisVoice)
This is the only product-specific policy highlighted at launch. It applies only to ApisVoice; other hub products will add equivalent subsections when they use sensitive permissions.
ApisVoice uses the browser Web Speech API to convert voice into text. This API requires microphone permission from the browser, and its operation involves:
- The microphone is only activated when the user explicitly requests it: by clicking the floating icon or using the
Alt+Shift+Vshortcut. It never activates on its own. - The captured audio is transmitted to the browser speech recognition engine. On Chrome, Edge and Brave, that engine uses Google servers. This communication is performed by the browser, not AppsDom; AppsDom does NOT receive the audio at any time.
- The recognized text is inserted directly into the field focused by the user and discarded. AppsDom does NOT store or transmit the text.
- The user can revoke the microphone permission at any time from
chrome://settings/content/microphoneor the equivalent setting in their browser. - If the user does not grant permission, ApisVoice will display a clear message and the dictation function will be inactive, but the rest of the local configuration will continue to work.
11. Changes to this policy
Any change to this policy will be published on this same page by updating the date and version. Substantive changes will be actively notified with a visible notice for a reasonable period.
12. Contact
For any inquiry about this policy or about data processing, write to: app-apisvoice@apisdom.com.
13. Jurisdiction and applicable law
This policy is governed by Spanish law, specifically the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and the LOPDGDD (Spanish Organic Law 3/2018). Any conflict will be resolved before the competent courts at the controller domicile.
